This is an updated review for lunch. I found that the most convenient parking is the valet at project 63. Enter from Harmon. The drop off is next to the escalator that takes you to the Arte Museum and at the top of the escalator is the elevator directly into Ocean Prime. The valet parking was $25.00 plus tip. We had a reservation for Ocean Prime but as with our previous visit the restaurant was not very busy and you pretty much had the choice of table/booth inside and on the patio. We ordered the French Onion Soup, Crab Melt Sandwich and the 3 course lunch special that offers choice of starter, entrée and dessert. Our server Brian was spot on and took care of us throughout the meal All of the food items were delicious and perfectly cooked. The soup has a rich hardy broth and plenty of caramelized onions. The Crab Melt sandwich had cheddar cheese, fresh greens, tomato and tartar sauce which created a delicious salad on a bun. It is served with French Fries that were crisp outside. My 3 course lunch was Lobster Bisque soup with several chunks of lobster a Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with slaw and mustard aioli and 2 chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were large enough for sharing.
Dining experience was 5 star and staff was incredible. Everything about our stop at Ocean Prime was impeccable. Deviled eggs were crazy, crab cakes were delicious, salmon was cooked perfectly, and lamb was insane. Some great wine selections with the Quilt magnum and the 50 year Port. Don't miss out. Our service was top notch.
The place where we spent all our coins with no regrets! This place is chill vibes, good food, and excellent customer service. We ate here on several different occasions during our trip and had ZERO complaints. If you want to escape from the crowds to a quiet hideout with a view, great food, and amazing people, this is your spot. First visit review only: We started with desert...there's a box around certain menu items for a reason. The cake was mouthwatering, the ice cream was a nice compliment which made me hungry so I got the tuna tartare dish. It was fresh, tasty, and flavorful. There's a restaurant closer to home so we will be making a trip for a date night Food 100/100 Ambiance is 100/100 It's an upscale dime lights, wine for days, felt like you were walking into a Bridgeton gathering Service 100/100 Everyone we encountered really love their jobs and it's reflected in their service.
Came here for my sisters birthday dinner. We like to try a new steakhouse every time we're in Vegas. Ocean Prime is a beautiful restaurant, there is a small dining room and bar when you first enter but as you go down the hallway you enter the large main dining room with a beautiful bar. Service: 12/10, great attention to detail, they brought us complimentary champagne for my sisters bday, complimentary dessert, and as an additional note about our server (a French? gentleman, shoutout to him if management is reading this) went above and beyond to take amazing photos for us, he even propped the table lamps a certain way for great lighting, truly so nice and funny also Food: -favorites were the complimentary bread, crab cake was delicious, mash potatoes and mac n cheese also -we ordered a fish (sea bass?) that was really good -we ordered our steak medium and we did not enjoy it because it came out medium rare, way too pink for us to enjoy -lobsters were overcooked and very chewy and hard to eat -carrot cake for dessert was delicious, also very good cocktails Overall we had a great time, if we go back we'll ask for medium well to get the steak how we like, and again, AMAZING service, we've been to multiple steakhouses (Prime, Jean George, etc) and Ocean Prime is definitely up to the same great standards for service
First time here celebrating a friend's birthday, and I was blown away by the exceptional service, elegant ambiance, and mouthwatering food. The Surf N Turf was fundamental. The short rib was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor, and the scallops were perfectly cooked. The Espresso Martini was one of the best I've ever had--luxuriously creamy and rich. Every dish was outstanding. Alberto, our server, elevated the experience with his attentive, friendly, and professional service from start to finish. Can't wait to come back!
The Las Vegas location of this nationwide brand has been open about a year. It's located in the 63 Las Vegas complex which sits between The Cosmopolitan and The Shops at Crystals on a petite plot of land that was once the ill-fated, never-opened, demolished Harmon Hotel. Ocean Prime is on the 4th level, accessible only by elevator directly into the restaurant. The elevator is by the Arte Museum entrance towards the rear of the complex. Ocean Prime is sectioned into a bar and lounge, the main dining room with 2 additional bars (one with seating), a side (sometimes private) dining room, and an outdoor terrace facing the Strip. The décor is open and modern, not old school Rat Pack. And the menus (dinner, lunch, weekend brunch) offer more than a traditional steakhouse, with many seafood options plus sushi. This was the first of 3 steakhouses I was to try on this Vegas trip, so I tried to order similar items at each spot. My cocktail, seafood, sides and dessert choices at Ocean Prime were stellar. They like "smoke": there was a smoking (dry ice) Berries and Bubbles cocktail and a smoking chilled crab meat cocktail with a Louie dressing. I also had a dressed Maine lobster which came with an herbed drawn butter. The menu lists a custom built "smoking shellfish tower", which is basically your choice of several seafood choices available (and priced) a la carte. The cocktail was dramatic and fruity, the seafood fresh and substantial. Note there is no complimentary bread service, although a small bowl of (truffled?) popcorn is offered. My steak choice was the least successful of my food choices. The 16 oz. boneless ribeye was well-seasoned and properly prepared, but the cut was thin and had gristle along with the expected fat. My go-to steakhouse sides are creamed spinach and creamed corn, and OP's were fabulous. The spinach had bacon flavour and lots of cheese, and the chophouse corn was fresh off-the-cob' .portions were large. My go-to dessert is a warm butter cake when offered, and OP hit another homerun here with their version with its slightly crunchy outside, fresh berries, raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream. Where OP fell short IMHO was their Open Table reservation policy for (less income-generating) solo diners. Only lounge tables can be reserved for this group. The table I was shown was fine, but the lounge was almost empty (it was late-ish on a weekday). I inquired about the busier main dining room and was told only bar seats were available, and the hostess dismissed me to find a seat there myself. There were at least two 2-tops that remained empty the entirety of my visit. The terrace seemed to be all 4-tops. My server/bartender was Michael, who was superb and sociable. Less so was his partner, a woman who took my order rather perfunctorily and then (thankfully) disappeared. Yes, I would return.
We went again! Yes, it's amazing! This place is obviously pricey, but for Vegas it's very fair. Also, since we were able to make a reservation this time, we sat outside on the Terrance which overlooks the strip. It is the prettiest view of the strip, no. But still great & I'm sure it'll be better when construction right there toward the south of the strip is complete. But FOOD, amazing! Everything was great! If I had to make any suggestion, it would be that the twin lobster tails were cooked the same way at the lobster in the linguini because that lobster was more tender.
Let me start off by saying what a beautiful restaurant.. We chose to sit outside on the patio along the rail overlooking the strip. I believe our waiters name was Eddie and he was not pushy or annoying and and very accommodating and recommended some great choices. We started with their Thai chili calamari was was fantastic followed by a Filet Mignon topped with Shrimp Scampi. Steak was cooked medium to order and melted in our mouths. For sides we chose broccoli sautéed in garlic & oil and their Mashed potatoes, we finished out fantastic meal with the butter cake served warm topped with salted caramel ice cream. 5 stars, great job OP Las Vegas!
Reservations can be made on OpenTable. I went for lunch, so although I did make a reservation, I did not need it. There is a dress code, but as long as are presentable, there shouldn't be an issue. You have to take the Ocean Prime elevator up to the 4th Floor to enter the restaurant. It is a large restaurant with bar seating available. The women's bathroom is stocked with tampons and mouthwash! There is an all gender bathroom if you prefer. Shout out to Brittney for taking care of me. I went to order just the Chilean Sea Bass and she kindly informed me of the Lunch Special! For a $2 difference, I got a first course of the Caesar Salad and a dessert of Chocolate Chip Cookies. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. I was offered the bread basket which I gladly accepted. The bread was so soft. The pretzel breads had the perfect amount of pretzel salt. It was delicious with the whipped butter. The Caesar Salad was topped with airy (brioche) toasty croutons, crisp and shredded Parmesan and fresh cracked pepper. The greens were fresh and a great start to my meal. The Chilean Sea Bass was nicely seared and flaky. The broccolini was well cooked and went well with the sea bass, onions and potato puree . Overall good flavors, though only had a hint of the truffle. Dessert came with 2 Chocolate Chip Cookies, which had a crisp edge while being soft inside. It was a little too sweet for me, so I didn't end up finishing them. Would have liked more options for the dessert. The Black Orchid had a beautiful orchid frozen in the ice ball. I don't really drink, but there is a perfect amount of Belvedere and St Germain, which was balanced with the Lemon and White Cranberry Juice.
